Nursery Manager

I have worked for Oxfordshire Nurseries since 2018 and have been supporting the managers in developing and running our group since 2014. I have been in management or leadership roles for over 15 years now and love everything about children and nursery life.

I enjoy the gym and long walks, particularly challenging myself to stay fit. I have a childcare and management qualification and enjoy keeping up to date with the latest changes in early years and gaining knowledge that we can use to improve the care and education we provide for all of our children! 

Deputy Manager and Preschool Room Leader

I have worked in childcare for 15 years and joined the Wantage Nursery in 2010 where I have found a home. I have a diploma in preschool practice and have recently completed my Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner qualification. I really enjoy teaching the Preschool and providing fun activities based on their interests.

I love working at this nursery as it is such a small and friendly team; the children really feel at home and this creates a relaxed and happy atmosphere. I am a cheerful and calm person and my passions are children and animals, particularly spending time with my lovely dogs.

Tweenies Room Leader

I've worked for the company since 2015 and joined the Wantage Nursery in 2021 as the Tweenie Room Leader. I love all things childcare and have a particular passion for caring for them as individuals, making sure they are all happy and well stimulated. I have recently been learning about children with difficulties and it is fast becoming a new passion of mine to be creative in my planning and include all of our children, in everything we do. I have recently completed my Level  5 Lead Practitioner qualification and enjoy using this to support the team in their development. The Wantage Nursery is a lovely place to work as it is small and we all know all of the children well.
